Room Temperature Linearly Polarized Light Transmission Properties in TiO2 Nanoclusters

Abstract: The experimental results on transmission properties of linearly polarized light in TiO2 nanoclusters at room temperature are reported. It was found that the transmission change as increasing wavelength nonlinearly varied. The measured value for band-gap wavelength is about 396nm and it is less than that for bulk crystals. The result is in conformity with the blue-shift phenomena given by the quantum-size effect.

摘要: 报道TiO2纳米晶簇室温线偏振光透射谱实验测量结果。样品光透射值随波长非线性变化。带隙波长测量值约为396nm。它小于体单晶的值,结果与量子尺寸效应研究表明的兰移现象相符合。
