The Tb3+ mixed ligand complex was prepared using Tb3+, DTPAA and pAS-Na in aqueous solution, and its existence was proved by UV and fluorescence spectra. The influence of concentration, pH value and La3+ on fluorescence emission strength of the complex was studied. The reaction of DTPAA with pAS-Na can give DTPA-pAS and DTPA-2pAS. Their Tb3+ complexes were obtained via the reactions of Tb3+ with DTPA-pAS and DTPA-2pAS in aqueous solution, respectively. The fluorescence properties of the Tb3+ complexes were studied. The possibility for application of the Tb3+ mixed ligand complex in labeling for human serum albumin(HSA) is tested.

The vibrations of Ru-terminal ligands (Q-mode) and intra-bridged ligand (6a mode) as well as their combination in the mixed valence Taube ion are studied by using density functional theory method under the Borh-Oppenheimer approximation. It is found that these three vibrations all are harmonic vibrations. And Q-vibration causes the charges on Ru1 and Ru2 atoms to be asymmetrical distribution. The charge transfer between Ru and terminal NH3 ligands is responsible for this asymmetrical change in charges on Ru atoms. The 6a vibration of the bridged ligand increases the asymmetry of the charge distribution on Ru atoms. However, in the combinational vibration of Q- and 6a vibrations, the Q-component dominates the asymmetrical charge contribution on Ru atoms. The difference of the charge distribution on metal atoms between the Taube ion and Fe2O11 system is briefly discussed.

Liposome is an effective nuclide delivery agent for neutron capture therapy. In this paper liposomes containing encapsulated gadolinium complex (LGd) were prepared and characterized. The influence of formulation factors such as pH, ionic strength, buffer, and storage time upon the stability of liposomes was investigated. The uptake rate constant and its concentration dependence of LGd in tumor cells were compared in vitro with that of Gd complex itself. The results indicate that the uptake rate of LGd in tumor cells increases to eight times as much as that of Gd-EDTA, but the release rate of Gd from tumor cells containing LGd is remarkably lower than that from the tumor cells containing Gd-EDTA. The results reveal that LGd would be a potential drug for neutron capture therapy of cancer.

The gas phase calibration source of hydroxyl radical was established using photolysis of H2O at 184.9 nm UV-light produced by low-pressure Hg lamp. The concentration of OH was inferred from the concentrations of O3 and H2O in the flow. The OH concentration was also measured using salicylic acid liquid phase scrubbing and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technique. The relationship between the calculated and measured OH concentrations was relatively uniform. The surface effect in the photolysis tube was studied using laser-induced fluorescence signal and was not of importance.

The solvent extraction of gold from alkaline cyanide solution by tetradecyldimethylbenzylammounium chloride(TDMBA) was described by labeled 198Au. The influence of several variables such as gold and cosolvent concentrations, shaking times, the ratio of TDMBA and gold on the extraction of gold(I) and the water concentration of the organic phase were studied. While the cosolvent ratio is more than 10%, in the TDMBA system, gold(I) was extracted completely. The gold extraction mechanism was discussed on the bases of water concentrations of organic phases and Infrared Spectrum. It was found that the aggregation ratio of TDMBA and Au(CN)2- is 1∶1.

NAMA-Ur is a specific DNA stain method that has been developed in recent years. In the Allium cepa cells only the chromatin or chromosomes are heavily stained, the other components are bleached. After the chromosomes are stained by NAMA-Ur, we have observed that the highest order structure of chromosomes is helical;while the secondary structure is radically folding. The DNA fibres with a diameter of 25~30nm have radically folded into chromatid fibres in a diameter of approximately 250nm. The above results present new evidence to support the radial loop and coils coexist mode of chromosome. This mode may more possibly accord with the real chromosome structure.

Studies were made on the enhancement of expression of human pro-Urokinase (Pro-UK) cDNA in Eschevichia coli. By means of PCR, the signal peptide DNA sequence was deleted. For study of the limited factors in expression of pro-Urokinase, the pro-UK gene was divided into three fragments, and they were expressed in E.coli BL21(DE3), The expression of middle fragment is very low, because there are several rare codon AGG(Arg) in it. Using a new bacteria E.coli BL21-Codo nPlusTM-RIL to introduce dnaY gene coding tRNAagg/aga(Arg) to recognize the rare codon AGG, the expression level of the middle fragment was enhanced to 10%~20% of total cell protein and the expression of the intact pro-UK was enhanced to 5% by more than 10 folds.

Authors used auto-correlation method and took Longhua area, Shenzhen City, as working area to study the spatial structure characteristics of landscape pattern and their contributing factors. The results indicated that all the landscape structure variables, which were used in the analysis process, expressed good structure features. It means that the landscape pattern of working area was formed by some kinds of driving forces which could not only cover the whole area, but also had good continuity. Detailed analysis resulted that the elevation differences were only the background impact factor of the landscape spatial pattern, but the intensive artificial landscape reforming of the fast urbanization process was the main contributing factor, which made the significant differences of landscape structure between 1988 and 1996. Since 1990, the landscape of working area has gradually changed to a landscape dominated by human impact.

Taking erectophile type continuous vegetation as a example, authors had done many Monte Carlo simulations, and established empirical analytic expressions of radiances with component temperature, soil emissivity and leaf area index. Empirical analytic expressions were used to construct objective function and genetic algorithm was employed to synchronously retrieve 5 parameters, such as component temperature, soil emissivity and LAI, from thermal infrared 2 channels and 2 angles data. Many experiments of genetic algorithm inversion from simulated data were conducted, results show that it is very robust to retrieve component temperature using genetic algorithm;genetic algorithm can cope with uncertainty inversion problem pretty well if full advantage of priori knowledge was taken.Comparison between inversion results and ground-truth data has been done. This paper offers a new example to retrieve component temperature from multi-channel, multi-angle thermal infrared data based on the model of directionality of thermal radiance.

It is a new approach to improve the accuracy of image classification in combining spectral feature with texture and structural features of ground objective on satellite image. Based on the recognizable characteristics of satellite image, it is introduced how to describe and capture texture and structural features of ground objective by the Discrete Fractional Brownian Motion model. Furthermore, neural networks are used for classification tool of satellite image. In classification spectral feature, texture and structural features of ground objective are used for the category of an IRS-1C satellite image. The category result shows this approach is better than the maximum likelihood classifier.

Magnetic coupling constants J for the complete structures of rare earth-transition metal compounds: LGdCu(NO3)3·Me2CO(1, Gd(Ⅲ)Cu(Ⅱ)) and [Ce(C4H7ON)4(H2O)3][Cr(CN)6]·2H2O(2, Ce(Ⅲ)Cr(Ⅲ)) have been calculated by the combination of the broken-symmetry approach with the spin project method under the DFT framework. The J value for 1 is a small number in absolute value -2.4cm-1 for calculation, 3.5cm-1 for experimental measurement. The spin density distributions are in detail discussed on the basis of Mulliken population analysis, taking into account the coexistence of spin delocalization and spin polarization mechanisms. For 1 ,the spin distribution in the ground state may be understood as a result of the competition between two mechanisms: a spin delocalization from Cu(Ⅱ) and a spin polarization of Gd(Ⅲ), and the former is dominant. In the case of 2, both transition metal Cr(Ⅲ) and rare earth Ce(Ⅲ) display a spin polarization effect on the surrounding atoms, where a counteraction of the opposite polarization effects leads a low spin density on the bridging ligand C1N1. In the ground state of 2, the stronger polarization effect of Cr(Ⅲ) even causes the positive spin density on the adjacent bridging atom N1.

In the process of oil field development, the discharge of oily wastewater to the environment will contaminate the subsurface soil and ground water in aquifers. In order to simulate the wastewater contamination to the environment, a two-dimensional unsaturated water flow and contaminant transport model was established, which was coupled with the well-known ground water flow and contaminant transport model MODFLOW and MT3D. Since the lower boundary of the unsaturated model is coupled with the moveable water table, an iteration method is applied to solve this problem with a node property identification technique. Authors investigated the geological and hydrogeologic conditions of Songfangtun Oil Field of Daqing Petroleum Administration, the largest petroleum production base in China. A Field test of oil seepage through subsoil was carried out. Soils and oily wastewater were sampled to make laboratory experiments in determining their properties of adsorption and bio-degradation. The above model is applied to simulate the soil and ground water contamination caused by the discharge of oily wastewater to the environment. Results show that the discharge of oily wastewater will cause heavy contamination of the subsurface soils. Wastewater will finally enter the phreatic aquifer though the time period of flow from the ground surface to the water tables is related to the discharge rate and source concentration of oil contaminant. Since ground water flow in this plain area is very slow, and there are no water supply pumping station nearby, the contaminated area is not large. It will take 45 years before the contaminated water is drinkable again (concentration<0.05 mg/L). The results of this study provided sound information for the design and construction of Songyi Integrated Wastewater Treatment Station.

Fibrin-specific antibodies were isolated from a phage-displayed single-chainantibody(ScAb) library using affinity selection or panning. DNA shuffling was introduced to realign the specific antibody genes in order to mimic the antibody maturation in vivo. After cloning of shuffling products, a secondary library was constructed, from which the specific antibody against fibrin with higher activity was selected through panning and screening. The fibrin-specific antibody gene and uPA functional domain gene fragment were joined together, then inserted into expression plasmid pET-21a. The ScAb/uPA fusion protein was expressed with the induction of IPTG. In substrate S2444 assay, the uPA activity of the chimera was about 3.1*103 IU/mg periplasmic protein of host E.coli. It also kept up the affinity to fibrin.
