Numerical Simulation of the Light Storage Based on Dynamic EIT and Analysis of Multi_Pulse Storage

Abstract

Abstract: A numerical simulation method is presented for studying the light storage based on the technique of dynamic EIT.Comparing with analytical method under certain limitations,this numerical method has advantages to study the change of the signal pulse with the effect of various factors, such as atomic decay and so on. Furthermore, both the feasibility and the prospect of the multi-pulse light storage in quantum information regime are also analyzed.

摘要： 采用数值模拟的方法研究基于动态电磁感应透明(dynamic EIT)技术的光存储，与通过近似得到解析解的方法相比，此方法更有利于研究各种因素(如原子弛豫)对存储过程的影响。利用数值模拟的方法探讨了多脉冲存储的可行性及其在量子计算和量子通信领域的实际应用前景。
