摘要： 对筛法中的基本函数F(u)的渐近公式进行了讨论，得到新的余项估计；另外，对出现在筛法经典文献中的一个错误结果给出反例。

Abstract: The paper gives new estimation to the error term of the asymptotic formula of the basic function F(u) in the sieve method; in addition, we give a counter-example to one incorrect result in the reference.
