Abstract: Based on the COADS data, the feathers of the seasonal variation and interannual change of the Oceanic Warm Pool are studied. The results show that the seasonal variation of the area and the center of the Warm Pool is connected with the seasonal variation of the solar radiation, while the highest value of the interannual change of area take place in the year of El Nino. The study of the seasonal variation of SST shows that the smaller the sea area and the nearer to warm pool center are chosen, the smaller the seasonal variation is presented, and there is a good positive correlation between interannual change of SST and that of area. The solar radiation and wind field are the key factors for the cause of formation of the Oceanic Warm Pool.

摘要： 根据COADS资料研究了大洋暖池的季节和年际变化特征及成因。暖池面积和中心的季节变化与太阳辐射的季节变化有关，而面积的年际变化最高值在El Nino年。选取海域越小且越靠近暖池中心，海温季节变化越小。暖池温度年际变化与面积年际变化有很好的正相关关系。太阳辐射和风场是形成大洋暖池的重要因素。
