Kinetic Energy Buget of Typhoon During Extratropical Transition

台风变性再度发展的动能收支分析

Abstract: Typhoon Winnie (1997) was studied by kinetic energy budget during its transformation and reintensification. The time evalution of kinetic energy about divergent wind in lower troposphere corresponds well to that of cyclone center pressure. The generation of kinetic energy by divergent wind is the primary fact or to the change of cyclone intensity. In transforming stage the intruding of cold air intensifies convergence in lower level, which makes for kinetic energy generation and favors to cyclone maintaining. In reintensifying stage the effect of upper jet increases kinetic energy generation by divergent wind in lower level, which causes baroclinic developing in cyclone. At last the type of cyclone reintensification was discussed. It is a compound process of type A and type B extratropical cyclone, so it is an interaction process between transformed cyclone in lower level and trough in upper level.

摘要: 对1997年的台风Winnie登陆后的变性并再度发展过程进行了分析。发现低层的散度风制造是气旋强度变化的主要原因。在变性阶段,由于冷空气的侵入使低层的动能制造增加,对台风的维持起了主要的作用;在重新加强阶段,高空急流的影响使低层散度风的动能制造明显增加,使气旋斜压不稳定发展。讨论了台风登陆后再度发展的演变模型,可以认为是一种A类和B类温带气旋发展的混合类型,是一个低层变性气旋和高空低槽相互作用和相互发展的过程。
