Abstract: This is a continue work in studying the wave propagation in elastic square columns Based on the previous work, the transient response of the limited column was studied After obtaining the analytic transient response acted by arbitrary external force, the warped surface in the terminal and the mechanical signs propagating processes in the channels formed by the Quasi-P, Quasi-SV and Quasi-SH waves were clearly displayed in the plotted figures Some regularities of the wave propagation were found from this closed system

摘要： 在以前工作基础上对有限长方柱的瞬态响应进行了研究，得到了其在任意外力作用下解析形式的瞬态响应图。从绘制的图谱中能够清晰地看到柱面的翘曲变形和机械信号沿着拟P波、拟SV波和拟SH波通道中的传播过程。从这个封闭系统中发现了一些瞬态波传播的规律和特点。
