Analysis of Acoustic Waveform Log for Oil/Gas Reservoir Assessment

Abstract: Acoustic waveform log includes abundant information, including velocities, amplitudes, frequencies and waveforms of borehole acoustic wave series, which are closely related to rock properties of the stratum. Based on the theory of borehole acoustic wave propagation and the technology of digital information analysis, the authors developed a PC software for synthetic fullwave logging analysis by using C++ Builder, which has been proved effective in assessment of carbonatite reservoir in Tarim.

摘要: 声波全波列测井记录了井内首波和后续流体波的速度、幅度、频率、波形包络等与地层性质密切相关的信息,尤其是井眼斯通利波信息能指示地层裂缝或渗透带发育。基于对井眼声波传播模式和数字信息提取技术的研究,利用 C++ Builder 开发了可用于全波列分波处理及全波列测井综合分析的软件,并在新疆塔里木盆地某碳酸盐岩型油田的油气储层评价中取得了良好的效果。
