Multiple Access Interference and Noise in FWM Optical Correlation Systems

Abstract: This paper reports our research on bipolar optical correlator using four wave mixing (FWM) effect. With analytical reduce and numerical calculation, after analysis on the multiple access interference(MAI) and other noises including amplified spontaneous emission(ASE), shot noise, receiver noise, and etc., signal to noise ratio and bit error rate are given as the evaluation of the system performance.

摘要: 研究了四波混频光相关器随机以及同步工作方式下,系统中存在的多用户干扰(MAI)和各种噪声,包括放大自发辐射(ASE),散弹噪声,接收机噪声等,结合解析推导和数值计算,以信噪比和误码率的形式给出了系统的性能表现。
