Abstract: Inconsiderate driving behavior is always attributed to environment or others, but is barely considered as the personal issue. This study investigated the fundamental effects of personality on inconsiderate driving behavior by adopting a questionnaire and a decision-making experiment. Results suggests that personality could significantly predict the behavior even the effects of situational factors were controlled. Meanwhile, when situational factors are similar, personal behavior shows consistency across situations. The conclusion strongly supported the thought of “a man drives as he lives”.

摘要： 当个体做出不友善驾驶行为时, 常归因于环境或者他人, 很少意识到自身的问题。针对这一现象, 通过问卷测量和行为决策实验, 从两个方面为人格在不友善驾驶行为中的根本作用提供了证据。两个实验的结果分别表明: 在控制了情境因素的影响后, 人格对行为的预测力依然显著; 当情境特征相似时, 个体行为出现跨情境的一致性。实验结论为“驾如其人”的观点提供了有力支持。
