Abstract: There are two ways to present mathematical expressions on web page now, i.e. as an image or installing special plug-ins on web browser. To make up for the shortage of both methods, a solution named WebMath is presented. Based on XML and implemented in Java language and the support of the IBM's XML4J parser and Java Applet technology, WebMath is implemented and integrated in web page editor tools. This thesis provides WebMath's framework and a technical solution.

摘要： 提出了一种WEB上数学表达式显示技术的实现方案。该方案克服了以前网上数学表达式多为图形或使用特殊插件的弊端，使用IBM公司的XML4J解析器解析MathML描述的文档，用Java语言实现方案，以Java Applet的形式完成了与常用网页开发工具的集成。
