The Application of the Index of Geoaccumulation to Evaluate Heavy Metal Pollution in Sediments in the Benxi Section of the Taizi River

应用地积累指数法评价太子河沉积物中重金属污染

Abstract: Based on the principle of sedimentology and the environmental behavior characteristics of heavy metals, The Index of Geoaccumulation (Igeo) is used to evaluate heavy metal pollution in sediments in the Benxi section of the Taizi River. The results show that heavy metal pollution in the sediments are serious. The main heavy metal pollutions are copper, lead, zinc, cadmium and mercury.

摘要: 根据沉积学原理和环境化学行为特点,应用地积累指数法对太子河(本溪段)沉积物中重金属污染进行了评价研究。结果表明,太子河市区段重金属污染是严重的,主要的重金属污染物为Cu, Pb, 其次为Zn, Cd, Hg。
