Abstract: The microsporogenesis and the development of the male gametophyte are basically normal and a large quantity of functional pollen grains can be produced in Cimicifuga nanchuanensis (Ranunclaceae). However, many kinds of abnormal phenomena exist in their developmental processes in a low ratio. No weak links causing this species endangerment were detected in their stamen development.
