Abstract: Most general definition of the Lorenz curve and Gini coefficient are given. Under the general condition, the usual estimators of Lorenz curve and Gini coefficient are proved to possess strong consistency respectively.

摘要： 对一阶矩有限的任何非负随机变量给出了洛伦兹曲线和基尼系数的定义，克服了已有文献上定义的局限性。并在十分广泛的条件下，论证了基于样本数据所得到的洛伦兹曲线和基尼系数的估计量都具有强相合性。
