A Model of Direction Calculation Based on Point Group Dividing

Abstract: A model of direction calculation based on point group dividing is proposed. This model quantitatively calculates the direction of spatial targets by dividing the point groups resulted from discretization of spatial targets. A case study is designed to verify the model. It can be concluded that the model is feasible and fairly efficient. It can meet the calculation requirements of geographical information systems and can support spatial data retrieval and query well.

摘要: 提出一种基于点群分割的空间方向计算模型。该模型把目标图形离散成点群, 利用平均分割点群的方法对空间目标之间的空间方向进行定量计算。实例研究说明此模型易于实现, 具有较高的计算效率, 适合地理信息系统在空间关系方面的计算要求, 可以为空间数据检索和匹配查询提供有力支持。
