The Effect on the Rock Mass Stability due to Hydro-Occurrence Environment in Longmen Grottoes of Luoyang

洛阳龙门石窟水的赋存对岩体稳定性的影响

Abstract: By contrast with other grottoes in China, Longmen Grottoes have very typical hydro-environment for its groundwater and many karst caves. By using the basic theory and the way in rock mass mechanics - Coulomb criterion and Mohr circle, the effect on the rock mass stabilization due to the hydrooccurrence environment was discussed. With the calculation on the decrease of critical sliding shear intensity and showing by stress Mohr circle, the conclusion can be drawn that, hydrooccurrence in the surface of slope full of unloading fissures obviously decreased the mechanical intensity of rock mass, and it is the vivid factor to make the rocks lose stabilization slowly.

摘要: 由于地下水的发育和大量溶洞的存在,龙门石窟与国内其他石窟相比,有着典型的水文环境。采用岩体力学中的基本理论和方法——库仑准则和摩尔圆,评价了水的赋存对洞窟立壁岩体稳定性的影响。通过计算饱水前后节理面滑动临界剪切强度的降低和在应力摩尔圆的直观图示可以得到,边坡卸荷裂隙中水的存在明显降低了岩体的力学强度,是诱发洞窟岩体失稳事件产生的活跃因素。
