一种用于网络计算机系统的半集中计算模型

Abstract: A semi-centralized computing model is proposed for network computer systems, which enables clients to participate more computing workloads and to provide seamless operating experience for users while all management advantages of traditional network computer systems are preserved. The authors investigates the strategies for computing partition, input integration and display integration, and implements a prototype of video player based on the semi-centralized computing model. Experimental results show that it can provide seamless video playback and reduce server load dramatically.

摘要: 提出了一种用于网络计算机系统的半集中计算模型,在保留传统网络计算机系统的管理优势的同时,支持客户端分担更多的计算负载,并可提供无缝的用户体验。研究了该模型中的计算任务划分、输入合成与显示合成的策略,实现了一个基于半集中计算模型的视频播放器原型。实验表明它能够进行无缝的视频播放,并可以显著降低服务器端负载。
